Making a Move?
Unsure as to exactly how to get started in your move? Are you a newly married Service Member and not sure where to start in relocating your family? Whether it’s your first PCS or you’re a veteran at it, let the Relocation Office aboard Camp Pendleton ensure you have the most current and up to date information about your gaining command or Base. Sponsorship
First time to Camp Pendleton as Permanent Personnel? Overwhelmed as you prepare the move of your family? Sponsors are here to meet you at the airport, show you around your new Base and community! Sponsors are a great tool to ease the burden and make things go more smoothly. For more information on Sponsorship, read
MCO 1320.11E. If you have young children or teenagers we have a Youth Sponsorship Program for them, just complete and submit a Youth Sponsorship Application

Base Housing
“Where will we live?” “Can we get
housing right away?” These are both very common questions when relocating to a new duty station. Camp Pendleton currently has 12 housing areas on Base. Enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean as you dine in your housing unit aboard the Base. As the wait list varies, please contact the
Base Housing office before you move for the most current information on Base housing. If you would rather reside off-Base, contact Base Housing for a listing of apartments and rental homes. For more information contact the Relocation Office.
Directions
Camp Pendleton is located 42 miles north of the San Diego airport, Lindbergh Field and 88 miles south of the Los Angeles International Airport, LAX. When driving to Camp Pendleton, the gate exit is clearly labeled and will take you directly to the front gate of the Base. There are various forms of
transportation available if you arriving via the airport. For more information or detailed directions contact the Relocation Office.
Single Marine Program
Maybe it’s your first time away from home. Maybe you’re looking for wholesome fun with your fellow Marines. The Single Marine Program is the way to go!! Enjoy the Super Bowl party with your fellow Marines. Or maybe a white water rafting trip!
The Single Marine Program conducts great outings to boost camaraderie and also volunteers in the local community.
Exceptional Family Member Program
What special needs services are offered aboard the Base? Camp Pendleton has an awesome Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) and is a great resource tool to assist with the many various challenges of transferring to a new duty station. Be sure to
contact the EFMP Coordinator prior to moving to see exactly what resources they have available.

We know that moving can be stressful and the need to have quality medical assistance readily available is extremely important.
