All participants must wear a mask during the events and maintain at least a 6 feet social distancing. All equipment must be disinfected between uses. All participants will need to wash hands or sanitize them prior to using any sports equipment. Spectators must remain 50-100 feet from competition area and follow the social distancing rules. Do not compete if you are not feeling well or have a high temperature. (100.4° F or greater).
The Camp Pendleton Athletics Department provides active duty service members stationed aboard Camp Pendleton a diverse, competitive sports program to include Intramural Sports, Commanding Generals Cup, Summer League Series, and special events.
During the COVID pandemic, the Camp Pendleton Athletics Department is providing active duty service members stationed aboard Camp Pendleton, intramural activities that are fun and sports related while maintaining a safe environment. The Intramurals Sports program is free and events are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There is a limit of 50 people per event. Events are subject to change. No awards or trophies are given at these events. Please check our intramural calendar of events for more information.
The Camp Pendleton Athletics Department offers opportunities for Units to schedule Unit specific sports events while following all COVID protocols and proper disinfecting of equipment. These events are for Active Duty Service members only with Marines/Sailors from the same Unit. There is a max of 50 people per event. Events are offered 0730-1300 on Friday’s per request. An event must be scheduled no later than two weeks in advance so that Athletics Staff can properly prepare for the event. You can schedule a Unit sport event by emailing the Athletics Department at cpenathletics@usmc-mccs.org. Schedule dates are first come, first served and are limited on availability. No trophies or awards will be given at these events unless provided by the Unit.
The Commanding General’s Cup is currently postponed until further notice.
The Commanding Generals Cup program offers free competitive events throughout the year for active duty personnel stationed aboard Camp Pendleton.

Monetary breakdown is based on event execution of 1/4 of the Commanding General’s Cup Calendar year. Money will be dispersed into the respected Unit and Family Readiness Funds within the next few days. The Commanding General’s Cup perpetual trophy and individual unit trophies will not be awarded due to safety concerns and due to the series not being completed in its entirety.
